Sandwich People

INTRO: Began working on a small project of minimal priority. Called the Sandwich Gang, about four sandwiches living in a Kitchen. Just have to redesign them in Flash really. These are the templates at the bottom

DESIGN: Began drawing the first drafts till I got a complete version.

DESIGN, STYLE: Got a definitive style and final look of the characters though still working on the backgrounds.

Another 11 Second Character Animation

Decided to try out one of the monthly 11 second club's voice recording, since it has been a while since I made one. Also saw the first years back in Falmouth do one and they have got quite an imagination.

 

I felt a bit rusty after two stinking weeks of civil protection back here in Switzerland so I wanted to do something again that resembles my style of animation and slightly resemblance to the "ren & Stimpy" Cartoon....god bless them.

Hello friends, I have been drawing in some new animals related to the world of Shell & Paddy. I have the intention of drawing thier enviornemnt, but for the moment here are just simple drawing I have done to keep me motivated in these stressful times.

 Here is a profile of me surrounded by what goes on in my mind. It helps you identify whta kind of person i may be.

This animal above has but one purpose, to run around and shout. All it does is rant at other animals, screaming at them for no reason, then runs off to find another to complain at. The teeth, which cleverly disguise it as a meat eater, are actually used to bite into the skin of a very hard fruit, of which it enjoys kicking the tree of which it blossoms from.

This one, by name looks like a turd, or poop. its actually lives in mud, especially in the rare swamp islands of the sea of desert. When there is no mud, they spend their time underground in wet, sloppy conditions. If unearthed, it looks like your digging out a huge pile of crap, when its actually just a fat, sweaty, brown skinned herbivore.

random character designs and preperation for 11 second animation

Here are some character designs i drew and using flash to draw the outlines then color them in, it "simplyfies" them. I personally liek this cartoon like art. Thats my goal, enter the cartoon industry and draw character designs, storyboards, post production OR ANIMATE by hand drawning. Over here we have a concept of a mad scientist, mutated ofcourse.

I have been watching a lot of "Flapjack" cartoons during the holidays and the first years introduced me to "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake". Both cartoons have the same artist http://www.ghostshrimp.net/

I like the art work, also i figured i should do less detail on my drawinsg so that my animation gets a bit easier.

What I am planning for is the "11 second animation" which is part of the course and an animation competition. These drawings are but one part of the preperation. I like this character because the 11 second voice (which is kinda creepy) fits in with this guy, even though he may not like much. I may change his skin colour and make him a bit hairy or skiny or bumps.
