Scottish Fever

I drew this last night in pencil and then went over with a nice charcoal brush stroke in illustrator. Somehow I have gotten into a craze of drawing a scottsman playing a bagpipe. The pipes are amazing when you hear it. The topples part is inspired from Celts who are the original scotts or first people of Britain before the Roman Empire came and colonized the country.

So here I have painted the same character but in different pain styles. Two from Photoshop, the other from Illustrator.

Pterodactyl Chaos

I love dinosaurs, and what could be better than drawing and sketching my own dinosaur concept artwork, meant for a project but I think they are beautiful and will be uploading more very soon.

Exploring My Paint

Hello there folks, some time last week, one of my colleagues at work, Sham, introduced am art software similar to Photoshop and Illustrator called "My Paint": http://mypaint.intilinux.com/
So I decided to gibe it a shot. I had recently sketched this Jungle Troll from Warcraft and wanted to experiment with it.

still got a lot to explore...

On the other hand, i have used the software's paint brushes to a certain potential for my character art for work at KING BEE.

I can even use a paint brush like a pencil sketch

Some random digital art work for this year

I have not put up a lot of artwork or updates on my blog. I am mostly occupied with my work but fortunately I was not lazy enough to do these bits and put them on my blog. Voila!

Melody Backgrounds

Now that "Melody" is officially on CBBC, I can show a few bits of what my role was in two episodes of the animation part.

As I must of explained in a previous blog, I have been concentrating on the backgrounds for three months, working for KING BEE ANIMATION STUDIOS.

First three are from the shoe-maker episode

The last images are from the snowman episode.

These are only previews as I wish not to risk revealing all but note that these now officially belong to KING BEE ANIMATION

Background artwork for King Bee Animation

For a while now, since from July, August and September, I have been working for King Bee Animation, firstly on a flash project (classified for the moment) and on some background artwork for a project called Melody.

What I can say so far is that I have been doing two separate scenes for this project, one being in a snowy clearing and one in a shoe workshop.

In respect to King Bee, these are NOT the final backgrounds but are different backgrounds roughs, edits and stages. Most of them have changed or evolved during the course of the weeks.

Designs for Shell & Paddy

Again I have been doing more drawings of Shell & Paddy, preparing for pitching. These images will be used to describe the clarity of the story, relationships and the characters.

Mother and Junior

You can clearly see the relationships for the characters here. You already know that Shell and Paddy are comical enemies.
