Sandwich People

INTRO: Began working on a small project of minimal priority. Called the Sandwich Gang, about four sandwiches living in a Kitchen. Just have to redesign them in Flash really. These are the templates at the bottom

DESIGN: Began drawing the first drafts till I got a complete version.

DESIGN, STYLE: Got a definitive style and final look of the characters though still working on the backgrounds.

TEST: Here is a little animation test

Background artwork for King Bee Animation

For a while now, since from July, August and September, I have been working for King Bee Animation, firstly on a flash project (classified for the moment) and on some background artwork for a project called Melody.

What I can say so far is that I have been doing two separate scenes for this project, one being in a snowy clearing and one in a shoe workshop.

In respect to King Bee, these are NOT the final backgrounds but are different backgrounds roughs, edits and stages. Most of them have changed or evolved during the course of the weeks.

Here is some background artwork designed for a freelance job for King Bee Animation Studios. Everything here belongs to them, please do not download anything as their logo is present.

Work Experience; Backgrounds for KING BEE ANIMATION STUDIOS

Been working on animations as well as background art for KING BEE ANIMATION STUDIOS.
the first background here is just paint tests using water colour paints. The style is simple and inspired from the "Samurai Jack" backgrounds. The Project is called "Melody" and my role was to paint water colour backgrounds for an autumn scene

Images with a logo on it now belong to KING BEE ANIMATION STUDIOS

Some small news of Shell and Paddy

Finally I have got my scanner and it works! Now I can scan my images and put them on the web. Here is some small news for Shell and Paddy. Backgrounds are well under way: (they will feature in this upcoming episode). These were sketched from the story board, coloured and improved upon by Joseph Hill

Next is a small update to the animatic/story-board of the episode "bath-time trouble": This change is when after Paddy sees an empty pool and turns his head left, we see the shot where Shell is running away from Paddy, still carrying his wash brush.

And finally, some small doodles I made in a note book. These images would be used for maybe two episodes that I have in mind. I have several idea of what to do and its good to either write them down or draw them.
